URBAN ENCROACHMENT ISSUES AFFECTING IRRIGATION DISTRICTS AND MUTUAL WATER COMPANIES IN THE WEST

Since 2001, a series of one-day workshops have been conducted by the Sociology Water Lab on urban encroachment issues affecting irrigation districts and mutual water companies in the West. These activities have been funded through a grant from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Science and Technology Program. These workshops have been held in Colorado, Utah, Idaho and California. We are pleased to post on our website several of the presentations made by guest speakers participating in these workshops. We hope you will find these presentations of interest. Please email us if you have any questions regarding access to these presentations, or inquiries about holding a similar workshop in your area.

The workshops are listed chronologically. Click on each workshop to obtain Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files of currently available guest speaker presentations.
